Where is netherstorm on the map

Comment by Thottbot Stormspire: 45, To get into the city, theres an elevator, just off the main road going north and south 42,33 Area 33, Comment by Thottbot There's a 3rd fligth path in Netherstorm; it's a small Goblin outpost east of Manaforge Duro I can't remember the name ; there's only 2 quests there, the main idea seems to give quicker access to those going off to Tempest Keep.

Comment by Thottbot I just found a strange shrine thing on a floating rock, anyone have any ideas? You take an elevator up into the city and the flight path is at the end of the furthest path, and off to the left.

Co-ords for Flight Path in Cosmowrench are 65, Comment by Thottbot is there a pvp camp in netherstorm like the ones in ashenvale, arathi highlands, and alterac mountains? Comment by Thottbot around how much extra gold do you receive doing quest at lv 70?

Comment by Thottbot There are 4 places where you can quest. Area 52, Stormspire, Watch post east of stormspire , echo-dome midrealm and 1 quest, what I know, In cosmowrench. Feel free to add some places i might have missed. Comment by Thottbot ive read that ther is someone here who gives out flying mounts and lessons to ride them anyone know where at?

Comment by Thottbot Based on personal experience, it's best to save Netherstorm for when you're if you need somewhere to level. Not because of difficulty or need of flying to get around but one reason A lot of the quests are chain quests and grouped up in one area. Kirin'var as an example, you have at least a dozen quests from there that have you only travel a short distance around the immediate are. Plus they give you a lot of items that at that point aren't much better than what you currently have if you did any instances at all.

So estimate on average 10G for quests in this area of OL and how many there are I was able to go from G to just over G doing nearly all the quests in this area. It's a definite good money maker are and should be reserved for level 70 just on that reason alone. If you're a casual player that can get one hour a day during most of the week and then have one day you can dedicate to playing you can easily and effectively complete nearly all the solo quests in this area within a week and a half.

Just be sure to come to here to find out which quest rewards vendor for the most. That alone probably netted me around G. Comment by Thottbot Netherstorm was great. So many quests, went from g to g between Boring zone, good quests. Comment by Thottbot So should you quest for 70 in either Blades Edge Mountain or Shadowmoon Valley and then come to Netherstorm and quest for the gold aspect?

Comment by Thottbot Being a Hunter, i found that i got to lvl 69 by the time i was finish in Nagrand. After talking with Guildies and a few mates i decided to come to Netherstorm to hit 70, the go back an do all the quests i missed. It was the best idea ever, as although these quests do give a fair amount of money at 70, going back and doing more lower level quests yeilds much better profit.

Comment by Thottbot I was done with Nagrand at 66 since i came at an early lvl so my next place was Blades Edge till Now i went to NS and can wack off about 10 quests per hour about g This place is great for lvl 70 because you can get many quests for a small area allowing many quests to be done at once.

Comment by Thottbot The buff you get is mana regen. Comment by Thottbot Good money Comment by Thottbot do u have to be lv 67 to get quests or is that just what lv the mobs are. Comment by Thottbot Do you have to be level 70 and have a flying mount to get to the Tiniest "Island" in the northern part of Netherstorm? Intro Music. The region known as the Netherstorm is comprised of the lands situated on seven relatively large floating islands and thousands of smaller rock fragments interspersed amongst them, which are the remnants of the once-lush Fields of Farahlon.

The original color of the rock is unknown, but since the deterioration of the land began, the bedrock and soil have assumed a sickly purple color that supports absolutely no plant life barring netherbloom.

As the original landmass was ripped apart and warped into its current state, great fissures opened and jagged, lopsided spires and platforms of rock were thrust upward. Like many other regions of Outland, great floating islands hover unnaturally above the landscape, some found spinning listlessly hundreds of feet above the surface.

By land, the Netherstorm can only be entered by crossing the goblin-built Gyro-Plank Bridge which spans the gap between the eastern border of the Blade's Edge Mountains and the Netherstorm's westernmost island.

A short hike down the road from the bridge leads to the goblin outpost of Area 52 where the goblins under Rocket-Chief Fuselage work to perfect their nether rocket technology.

Several draenei ruins also populate the region. The Ruins of Enkaat lie to the northwest of Area 52 and are inhabited by the restless spirits of fallen draenei who once lived there. The Arklon Ruins further to the east are inhabited by demons of the Burning Legion hunting for draenei artifacts of power.

In the far north of the Netherstorm lie the Ruins of Farahlon , also infested with powerful demons. The Burning Legion has several holding in the region in addition to the draenei ruins. Forge Bases: Gehenna and Oblivion, dedicated to the construction of monstrous fel reavers see scores of demons working furiously to construct the reavers. Invasion Point: Overlord and Invasion Point: Destroyer are sites dedicated to the summoning of powerful demonic reinforcements.

The Legion's commander in the region, Socrethar, has taken over the entirety of the smallest of the major islands in the northwest. The island has gained the name Socrethar's Seat as a result. On the northeastern side of the northeast island lies the Celestial Ridge, a great forest of arcane crystals and nesting grounds for a large number of nether dragons of the Netherwing faction.

On the eastern side of the southernmost island is the human settlement Kirin'Var Village. Built as a base for many of the Kirin Tor mages that came through the Dark Portal at the conclusion of the Second War , it is now inhabited only by ghosts and strange magical apparitions.

One of the most notable features of the land are the five Manaforges scattered across the floating archipelago. Constructed by the forces of Kael'thas using naaru technology discovered in Tempest Keep , these abominable devices provide a potent source of arcane power to fuel Kael's insidious plans.

Of the five, four of the Manaforges Ara, Coruu, B'naar, and Duro are operational and garrisoned by the Sunfury blood elves and a scattering of the Legion's demons. The fifth; Manaforge Ultris, has been destroyed and infested by shadowy void creatures. Two rival ethereal bands: the Ethereum and the Protectorate, vie for the rights to the potential profits that might be reaped from such a disaster.

Great tube-like conduits that span the region channel the energies amassed by the Manaforges to Kael's seat of Tempest Keep in the east. Finally, in the central and northern regions of the Netherstorm are the holdings of the ethereals of the Consortium. There they have constructed massive arcane domes inside of which they have engineered conditions favorable to plants and animals that could never survive in the Netherstorm otherwise.

Known as Eco-Domes, they serve as lush oases in the arcane desert surrounding them. The southernmost, Midrealm, is home to creatures such as lynx, moths, and crocolisks. To the immediate north is the largest in the region, consisting of three conjoined eco-domes.

If you don't have flight or the flight points, you will need to run and its a long way. Using your own flight will be the easiest as you can cut across the void, flight points will take you round the other zones.
